Richard A. Seaman, resident of Chester for 47 years, passed away at home at the age of 78 on August 17th, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with amyloid cardiomyopathy. Rick was born in the Bronx, NY, and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School, Brooklyn, before serving in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. He retired from Lee Company, Westbrook, CT. Rick was a member of Knights of Columbus of St. Joseph’s Church in Chester. He went to his first New York Yankees baseball game at the age of 6 and remained a lifelong fan. Rick is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol Anne, his son Sean (Lori), and grandchildren Thomas, Tess, Matthew, and Frannie. The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the nurses and aides of the Middlesex Health Hospice Program. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 26th at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 48 Middlesex Avenue in Chester, CT.
