Arthur H. See, 79, of Deep River, beloved companion of Sarah O. Mason, passed away Friday morning February 25th at the Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. He was born June 29, 1931 in Bronx, NY the son of Charles and Winnifred (Wehl) See. Arthur was a proud member of the Marine Corps, and served his country during the Korean War. He was a life member of the Deep River Post #61 American Legion; he also belonged to the VFW in Centerbrook as well as the D.A.V, and was a member of the Marine Corps League. He held various occupations throughout his lifetime and took part in the CETA Program. Besides his loving companion of 30 years he is survived by his two children: Richard and Robert See, as well as his sister-in-law Elsa See and several nieces and nephews. Arthur was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Charles See Jr. and his sister, Frances Fernandez. A chapel service with full military honors will be held on Thursday, March 3rd at 11:00 AM at the State Veterans’ Cemetery, Bow Lane in Middletown.
