Obituary of Nancy Clark
Nancy J. Clark, a lifelong resident of Chester and beloved wife of Dudley “Will” Clark for 50 years passed away peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2018 at her home. Nancy was the daughter of Harold and Kathleen Jones. She was the Director and Teacher at Jack & Jill Nursery School in Chester for 32 years, a position she cherished. Nancy was a member of the United Church of Chester and the Chester Garden Club. She also served for 14 years as the Assistant Director of weekend Child Care at Gladeview Health Care in Old Saybrook and worked many years at the Ceramica Shop in Chester Village. Besides her husband Will, Nancy leaves her children, son, Scott Clark and his wife Jill of Old Lyme; daughter, Brooke Parakilas and her husband Chris of Old Saybrook, her four grandchildren, Tyler and Ryan Clark, and Zoe and Max Parakilas. She also leaves her brother, Harold Jones and his wife Linda, and her sister, Pat Kosky, of Chester, and her niece and several nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, her grandson Alexander Clark, her in-laws, Dudley and Ornella Clark, brother-in-law, Dennis Kosky and her nephew, Michael Jones. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11:00AM at The United Church of Chester, 29 West Main Street in Chester.
