On behalf of the Wester family in California John, Yvonne, Joey and Jeff we send our sincere condolences to his family. My father John is now deceased from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. I am so sorry for your loss. We received a letter about his passing and so sorry I did not know of him. He sounded like a wonderful man.
May God fill your heart with all the sweet memories.
I first mt Bob over 15 years ago while I was working at Snow's Home and Garden on Cape Cod. Bob was a regular summer visitor to our Hobby Department, due to our large selection of Revolutionary and Civil War collectibles and extensive model railroad display. He spent time with me in the Hobby Department while Theresa browsed among the huge home section.
I retired from this part time job several years ago and my wife and I move to Essex CT, to be closer to our grandchildren. One late afternoon,, we stopped in to the Black Seal for dinner and lo and behold I couldn't believe my eyes, there sat Bob and Theresa several tables away. Bob in his usual dry humor said, " What, are you following me?"
We saw him for several more years, but the time between seeing him where less and less. My wife and I miss bumping in to him along the streets of Essex..
