Dear Ruth, Warren and Leigh Ann, Today I was very sad to learn of my Cousin Bill passing, I am so sorry for your loss. In many ways he and his Brother Bud set my path in life, I have never forgotten their example or their mentoring. I followed in their footsteps attending Ohio University, Army ROTC and active duty career that lasted 30 years. I still remember the last time I saw Bill in person at Aunt Stella's in 1975 shortly before I graduated from Army Flight School, he told me how proud he was of me. We lost touch over time but in 1997 while deployed to Bosnia a coworker knew Bill and put was able to connect us and we had a great conversation. I regret we were never able to connect in person after 1975. I am forever grateful for the example Bill set for me and his mentoring when I was a child. Sincerely, Randy Cochran Elkmont Alabama
