A condolence to all the family, especially to Eliza, and prayers, too. However, no prayers necessary for Page as in all phases of his life --- success was his ------ he did not pass away, he passed up. In the sixties and for another thirty years I was able to fish, hunt and hear Page's wonderful stories at East Haddam Fishing and Game Club. Then, in 2013 we met again at Essex Meadows -- no change, a remarkable gentleman. Page when we meet again, please let me borrow a shotgun, fishing rod and a few of your engaging stories ------ be patient, Nick
Bobbi Schaus joins me and adds only one disappointment: Page did not run for United States Senator from Connecticut.
Ann and I are thinking of the last time we saw Page and the many stories he shared with us and the rest of the family. He led a full and happy life, and there was much to admire about such a man. Our deepest condolences.
