Obituary of Lillian W. Agostinelli
Lillian (Wetmore) Agostinelli, 82, of Deep River, loving wife of the late Joseph Agostinelli passed away Sunday, October 16th at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Middletown; daughter of the late Nelson and Florence (Buell) Wetmore and grew up in Chester, graduating from Chester High School in 1948. She moved back to the area in 2007 after spending 28 years in Bunnell and Flagler Beach Florida. Lillian was a member and secretary of the Moose Club in Daytona Beach, American Legion Auxillary, and active in the Lions and Elks Clubs and Swede Hall in Deep River. She was an avid duck pin bowler and enjoyed trips to Mohegan Sun. She is survived her three daughters: Patricia Ann Gilbar of Cottle, WV, Judith Lee and her husband Charles Tower of Chester, and Joanne M. and her husband Edward Turner of Deep River, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 57 years she is predeceased by her brothers, the late Vernon and Howard Wetmore, and an infant sister. The family would like to thank the hospice staff of Vitas of Hartford, Rose Howard and her daughter Angela, the Keep Me Home Agency, and Pastimes Adult Daycare in Deep River. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19th from 5-7 pm at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. in Centerbrook. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20th at 10 am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River.
